Restaurants open and restaurants close... that's just the cyclical nature of business sometimes. It's always sad to see a restaurant close. So thankfully, we've got some good news; a new Lansing restaurant is about to open!

Lansing has seen a slew of restaurants open their doors recently; Panda Express (with another location to come soon to south Lansing), Jersey Mike's, Big Moe's Kitchen, Middle Eats, and more.

Lansing Restaurants

Among the restaurants opening soon is a hot pot restaurant.

Opening soon on Lansing's westside is IPot.

This isn't the first Korean BBQ or hot pot restaurant to join the Lansing restaurant landscape. KPOT Korean BBQ and Hot Pot opened in May 2024 in the former Buddy's Pizza on Lansing's westside.

Both hot pot and Korean BBQ are like dinner and a show—except you're the star chef. With hot pot, you’re in charge of your own personal masterpiece, cooking up fresh meats, veggies, noodles, and more in a bubbling pot of delicious broth right at your table. Now, if you’re feeling social and ready to share the spotlight, that’s where Korean BBQ comes in. Picture this: a table-top grill sizzling with marinated meats, fresh veggies, maybe even some pineapple if you’re feeling fancy. You and your crew take turns grilling up your feast and pair it with rice, pickled veggies, and all the good stuff. It’s hands-on, a little smoky, and a whole lot of fun.

There's no word just yet on when IPot is opening, just signage that says, "coming soon". They are having open interviews, so if you're looking for a job, they're hiring!
